Sila is a free, confidential service that assesses your situation and connects you with licensed lawyers and licensed investigators in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia — through lawful channels only.
Sila was founded by a team from the Arab diaspora based in North America and Europe. In our own communities and families, we have seen women and children left behind when a husband or father emigrated and went silent — no news, no support, no clear path forward.
Our primary mission, stated openly: helping Arab women and their children reach a husband or father who disappeared abroad, and recover their rights through legal channels — via licensed lawyers and investigators, in complete confidentiality, entirely free for the families.
We also serve anyone in our diaspora communities who needs a trusted, licensed professional to lawfully verify facts affecting their rights — such as an undisclosed marriage in the West, or concealed income and assets during a support dispute — strictly through official records and legal processes.
A short, confidential form. No documents needed to start; your name is never shown to anyone.
Within 72 working hours, a coordinator reviews your case with you and explains honestly what is legally possible — and what isn't.
If your case is actionable, we refer you to a licensed lawyer or investigator in the right jurisdiction. Fees are agreed directly between you and them — we take nothing from you.
Every verification we arrange happens strictly through public records, court processes, and licensed professionals acting within the scope of their licenses. We do not accept — under any circumstances — requests for covert surveillance, tracking a person's movements, or accessing anyone's phone, accounts, or communications. These boundaries protect you first: unlawfully obtained evidence collapses in court and exposes the person who gathered it to liability.
Our partner lawyers and investigators pay us flat marketing and operations fees — because we bring them serious, pre-screened clients from Arabic-speaking communities they cannot otherwise reach in their language.
You never pay us anything. Professional fees — if you choose to retain a partner — are agreed directly between you and them, in writing, before any work begins. No hidden commissions, no percentage of your case, no surprises.
Takes under 3 minutes. "I don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer.
An Arabic- and English-speaking coordinator will contact you within 72 working hours, using the method you chose. Everything you shared stays confidential — nothing more is needed from you right now.
Sila is the Arabic-language gateway for cross-border family matters: support enforcement, locates, marital-status verification, and family reconnection. We speak the community's language and understand its context — you practice law.
We work exclusively with licensed professionals, verify licenses periodically, and give every client your license number with instructions to verify it independently — because that transparency is what makes them trust the referral.
